It's A Winter Wonderland With 4" New Snow!

We know you've been patiently waiting to sink your edges into some natural snow. Your wait is over because we have 4" of new snow all across the mountain and more terrain opening this weekend on Burnt Ridge Mountain. Look for Echo, Cedars, The Gully, and Hedges on Saturday!

We have 12 lifts spinning, servicing 43 trails. Explore three mountain peaks this weekend with seasonable weather and more snow in the forecast. We are ready for the powder! Snowmaking is cranking on Paradox, Sagamore, Eagle's Nest, & The Pipeline Traverse. 

We are making snow on "Backwoods", our new intermediate trail on Burnt Ridge. Backwoods is a fantastic addition to the beloved trails on this massive peak, running alongside Barkeater Glades and exiting just above the Roaring Brook Bridge, for more direct access to Little Gore Mountain and the Ski Bowl! World University Games continue through the weekend with Snowboard Slaloms on The Arena. Saturday features the Parallel Giant Slalom event; on Sunday, we'll shorten and tighten the course for Parallel Slaloms. 

We'll open up the rails on 2b & the Arena at some point this weekend for experienced freestylers to try their hand at this elite slopestyle course. Don't miss the awesome flow on Upper Sleighride with 13-features.

In celebration of this historic occasion and to wrap up 11 days of lively competition, we are hosting Sundeck Parties both days this weekend. Enjoy live DJ, food & drink specials on the deck, vendors, games, giveaways, and complimentary s'mores in a fun & festive atmosphere with slopeside views of the slalom courses.

The Spin-It-to-Win-It prize wheel starts at 12pm. Line up on the sundeck to spin for a cool prize from Rossignol, Burton, Gore Mountain, or Lake Placid 2023. World University Games and Gore Mountain merchandise is for sale inside the Base Lodge.

Changes to your arrival including the parking layout, traffic flow, and security checkpoints are in effect both days this weekend. Be sure to review prohibited items and event details in advance of your arrival.
