Open-ended Art Exploration with Barbara Rucci

Families can drop in to come to craft with Barbara Rucci! We will have 3 different art stations where you can explore your creativity. No registration needed, this is a drop-in program. This program is designed for children to explore materials and ideas on their own. Parents are free to engage with other parents, or their child, as long as they are not impeding their child’s creative process. Drop-offs will not be permitted.

How to Crush Your College Essay on Zoom

College Admissions Consultant David Wtorkowski of Big Green College Prep (BigGreenCollegePrep.com) presents an informative Zoom discussion about how to ace your college application essays, including your main “Personal Statement” and the supplemental “Why Us?” essays. Highlights include: Why the essay is so important for admissions, what makes for a great essay topic, common mistakes to avoid, plus case studies of essays that worked. 30-minute presentation followed by Q&A. Pizza and Pages for grade 6-8

Arlene H. Grushkin Children's Program Room Middle schoolers in grades 6-8, join us each month for a book discussion, games, and pizza. You can pick up each month's selection at the Library to read at home before the meeting. We'll also vote on the book for next month.

In August we will be reading The Oceans Between Stars by Kevin Emerson.
