The Library will be closed on Sundays for the summer beginning 6/18.
We will be closed until 1pm on Friday, 6/23 due to electrical work.

Summer is here & it is time to get BUGGED about books! We will spend our summer learning about nature through reading, hands-on programs, and activity challenges. Log your minutes read and activities to earn prizes and badges.

CuriOSity: A Machine Learning and Visual AI Workshop for Grades 6-12

Thursday, June 22nd

Anderson MakerLab

Join us for a hands-on workshop in the MakerLab exploring concepts of machine learning and visual AI. Antonia Kolb, the founder of the DETICKT IT app, will share her inspiration and process for creating the app, then lead us through a hands-on activity exploring real-world applications of machine learning. We will be using Google Colab, a free program that allows us to train models, and coding using Python. Library laptops and Google logins will be available, but feel free to use your own laptop or login to save your work for further exploration. For teens in grades 6-12. REGISTER HERE
