PUBLIC NOTICE

Be it known that, effective immediately, the Narragansett Indian Tribe hereby solemnly declares the Incorporation of Providence Plantations in the Narragansett Bay as the sole, exclusive guardian and governing authority over the Narragansett People. All prior guardianship rights, claims, or responsibilities held by the Narragansett Indian Tribe of Rhode Island and the Narragansett Tribe of Indians relating to the Nanhigganeuck (also known as Narragansett People) are now revoked, rendered null and void, and terminated without exception.

This governance transition is executed and ratified under the direct authority of the Governor in Chief and Lord High Admiral (President), Shareff S. Champlain (Nahigganneuck, alias Narragansett).

All individuals, organizations, and authorities concerned are hereby notified and required to recognize and comply with this directive. Non-compliance or contrary claims will result in appropriate legal action.
