Dominick R. Mastri, age 42 of Seymour, died peacefully on September 9, 2025 at Griffin Hospital with his friends by his side. Born in Germany on January 25, 1983, he was the beloved son of the late Heike Chawlek Mastri and Dana Mastri of Naugatuck and brother to Ashley Argust.

Mr. Mastri was raised in Ansonia and Seymour, CT and was a 2001 graduate of Seymour High School. He attended the University of Connecticut. Dominick worked at Abbott Jewelry Systems as a Product Manager where he worked currently as an Independent Contractor.

Dominick enjoyed being a companion to his beloved dogs Elsa and Freya.  He was also passionate about cooking, tending his garden and was very proud of his competition winning chili.

In addition to his father Dana and sister Ashley, he is survived by his beloved dogs Freya and Elsa and dear and trusted friends, Eric Tuttle of Milford and William Guerrero of Seymour

Family and friends and coworkers are invited to celebrate Dominick’s life on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Avenue, Ansonia. Interment will be private. Online condolences may be made at www.wakeleememorial.com.
