Mary Ann Malinak, age 62 of Rocky Hill, formerly of Stratford, peacefully entered eternal rest on July 6, 2025 in Hartford Hospital. Born in Bridgeport on September 6, 1962, she was the daughter of John Malinak of Branford and the late Mary Lou Stapleton Malinak. Ms. Malinak was raised in Stratford, was a graduate of St. Joseph High School, Trumbull and earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Sacred Heart University. A devout Catholic, Ms. Malinak was a member of the St. James and Our Lady of Grace Choirs. Her faith in Jesus Christ carried her through many challenges and hardships she faced throughout her life. She loved music, dancing and was always available to help others in their time of need. Her caring and loving nature endeared her to many, as she was always available to lend an empathetic ear when it matter most. She will be long remembered as a loyal and loving daughter, sister, aunt and niece.

In addition to her father, she is survived by her devoted sister, Joan Marie Malinak-Kardos and her husband, Terence of Naugatuck; her cherished nieces and Goddaughters, Rebecca and Theresa Kardos, both of Naugatuck; aunt, Anne Malinak of Beacon Falls; uncle, Atty. James Stapleton of FL; as well as several cousins. A private graveside service will be held in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Derby.
