THINK YOU HAVE THE BEST BBQ !!! On Saturday cooks from all over the South compete for top Barbeque honors at this BCA State Championship BBQ. Teams compete for $4,950 in prize money, awards, trophies and certificates. BBQ entry fee is $150.00 (3 categories) with a chance of winning as much as $1,500. Cash prizes up to 8th place in each category. Want to be a judge and eat some great BBQ at the same time. Contact the WBRCVB to volunteer. Please call for more information or to participate. Live music on stage Sunday. Antique car show, hula hoop and jitterbug contests. This fun event is held on the grounds of the West Baton Rouge Tourist Information & Conference Center. Come and spend the weekend with us and enjoy great food, great fun and great music.
