Responding to the Pajaro Flood...

We are mission focused and steadfast in our resolve to serve families experiencing homelessness due to the Pajaro Flood. Our Case Managers visited the Fairground Shelter offering information and encouraging those in need to explore our services. Within 48 hours of the Pajaro flood, we welcomed four families into vacant units and three more remain on the waitlist.  

We are thankful for the community members and organizations that have come alongside us in this latest crisis. Because of your generosity, PVSS was able to host a giveaway of diapers, formula, clothes and other much needed items for those impacted by the flood. The event was made even more effective by the addition of delicious tacos and quesadillas donated by Jaime Cruz, owner of Tacos Los 2 Compadres.
