Our anniversary is coming!! The Palm Harbor Library is celebrating its 45th anniversary on March 31st with our Open House event from 5-7 PM! The library will be closing early at 2 PM this day so we can be ready for you at 5 PM. Bring all family and friends to enjoy fun activities, carnival games, a wine toss for the adults, a DJ, and more! The library started in 1978 on April 1st. We will be honoring the 70's for this celebration and incorporating many things from 1978 that will include even some Star Wars fun! There will be many stations all over the library so you can learn more about what your favorite place has to offer. See more history of the library, here!

The library is also celebrating Women's History Month!

This is also a great reminder that we have a donation bin in our lobby for I Support the Girls (read about that partnership further down).

 Look for new book displays and will be having The Jane Martin Women's History Month Celebration on Monday, March 20th. This event will be honoring four women who have made a positive impact on the Palm Harbor community. Dick Martin has graciously sponsored this event in honor of his mother who was a long-time volunteer with us. Jane also gave so much of herself so that her community would be a better place to live. She served on the library’s Advisory Council, the Palm Harbor Friends of the Library, library
fundraising committees and general all-around volunteer
