From: Heritage Museums And GardensDear Friends,
We have exciting news about a significant opportunity for you to participate in the Capital Campaign for the new Welcome Center at Heritage Museums & Gardens.
Heritage friends Patricia and Steve Chubb have stepped up with a generous $1.5 million challenge to inspire other donors to join them by making a contribution in time to break ground in early 2024. The Chubb’s philanthropic commitment marks the naming of the Clarissa S. Nye Visitor Center, the visitor orientation building that is part of the four-building welcome complex. The Welcome Center is the gateway to Heritage, providing an inviting experience where visitors can begin their exploration of our diverse offerings.
“The new Welcome Center will enhance Heritage’s capability to welcome, orient and promote curiosity for our culture, environment and history -- all values highly prized by Clarissa S. Nye”, said the Chubbs. “We encourage all to accept our challenge with generous donations to support Heritage’s place as a revered community resource”.
“The Chubbs are wonderful friends of Heritage and are leading the way in powering the impact that the new Welcome Center will have”, says Anne Scott-Putney, Heritage President & CEO, “We are deeply appreciative of their vision and support.
Gifts from donors taking up the challenge will support all aspects of the Welcome Center experience, including opportunities for naming other buildings, gathering areas and garden spaces.
