Joe Mazza, host of HGTV’s Home Inspector Joe, is an expert home inspector with a 20-year construction background and a sixth sense for safety. He runs Exclusive Home Inspection in Westchester, New York, and his job is to ensure his clients don’t move into an unsafe home. On HGTV, he works with his design partner to help house hunters achieve their dream home designs while also repairing high priority safety issues. Joe posts videos online giving homeowners advice on what to look for in their own home and sharing tips for them to be their own best home safety advocate. Whether he’s sharing how-to info about cleaning gutters, identifying a dangerous crack in the chimney, or properly insulating a home, Joe empowers homeowners with the knowledge to create a safe living environment. He is a motorcycle-riding, beard-combing, hands-on home inspector who’s bringing attention to home safety and repairs.

Slip Pot - The Original Bonsai Workshop
"Slip Potting" is a method by which one drops a root-bound bonsai tree into a larger container. The tree doesn't know it's been repotted and grows, undisturbed, without the need for a recovery period. Slip Pot Bonsai Workshops is a fully mobile workshop program focusing primarily on easign people into the wonderful world of Japanese and Chinese horticulture techniques using conifers and subtropicals to create bonsai trees. "Mini" workshops will be held Saturday, February 25th, 12pm-5pm. Cost is $35 per person and includes all supplies. Slip Pot will be offering Bonsai, Kokedama, and Kosamono options.

New this year! Plan to eat your lunch at the show on Sunday, February 26th! We'll be featuring Captain's Market and Weber's Backyard BBQ Co. The trucks will be located outside Hall A Main Entrance from 11am-3pm.
Growing Gardeners with Vegepod
Vegepod is bringing more than just the world's best raised garden bed to this year's show. Vegepod will be incorporating interactive areas such as children's digging stations, fun root vegetable identification activities, and children's drawing stations. these stations allow kids to get their hands dirty and dig up "planted" or hidden vegetables in the Vegepod bed. They can identify what they found by matching them to the correct photo, and finally, draw a Vegepod growing vegetables inside.
Vegepod aims for everyone to have left our feature with a smile on their face from activities, knowledge, and garden insights from our staff.
Hero Day
We will honor our local heroes on Friday, February 24th, when all active and retired military, first responders, nurses, doctors, and teachers get one free admission with identification at the Box Office.
