Pier 60 Sugar Sand Festival is a 17-day sand sculpting festival that pays tribute to Tampa Bay’s two most valuable assets: our sugar sands and our sunsets!

Head to the beach and enjoy FREE activities for all ages, including a children’s play area, street performers, artisans, live entertainment, fireworks, sand sculpting classes, speed sand demonstrations and the master sand sculpting competition.

All police, fire, military, veterans, teachers and healthcare workers will receive a discounted general admission ticket to the Sugar Sand Walk Exhibit for $10 per person plus tax with proper identification. Discounted tickets cannot be pre-purchased online and are only available to be purchased on-site during Frontline Fridays.

Join us for some fun in the sand and a cold drink in your hand on Saturday, April 12, for the Sugar Sand Festival Cornhole Tournament. Payment due upon arrival.

Boards up - 9:30 a.m.
Practice and registration - 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
Tournament start - 11:00 a.m.

Two divisions of play:

Open Division - $25 per person with complimentary drink included
Blind draw - pool play - double elimination

$1,000 cash purse cornhole tournament

Pro-Amateur Sand Sculpting Competition

Observe the sculptors of tomorrow as they compete, each crafting extraordinary and imaginative sculptures. This engaging and free event is set against the backdrop of the famous Pier 60, along its southern stretch
