July 19, 2024

7pm: The Line Up with Susie Mosher - The Tennis Tea at Buck Hill Falls

It's an opening night party to celebrate our 15th Season!  The Festival's favorite host, Susie Mosher, is back with a night of fun, silliness, song, and general merriment!  This wild, anything goes extravaganza is a preview of the season, featuring spectacular local vocalists and graduates of our Performing Arts Camp Experience performing alongside stars of Broadway and cabaret!

This event, in its fourth year, is always an unforgettable night of entertainment!

Actress/singer Mosher hosts the spontaneous extravaganza with her "dynamite voice, heartfelt observations and ridiculously funny improv." (Go Magazine). A hit with both critics and audiences, each Lune UP is unique and promises to deliver an unforgettable night of quintessential NYC entertainment.

From Tony winners, pop artists and Broadway regulars to experimental groups, undiscovered newbies and subway performers, past guests include: Alice Ripley, Katharine McPhee, Beth Leavel, Maddie Poppe, Naturi Naughton, Billy Stritch, BETTY, Anya Marina, Dan Finnerty, Kimberley Locke, Kevin Chamberlin, Erich Bergen, KT Sullivan, Christina Bianco, Carole J. It's time to get dressed up, make your way to downtown Stroudsburg, and join our funky dance party! The Pocono Pops! and our cast of New York's top vocalists perform the super hits of Cher, Madonna, Donna Summer, Chaka Khan, Gloria Gaynor and many more.

Tonight is an ode to the joy of the disco era and the women who made it happen!

2pm: Tea and Symphony an elegant tea and classical music afternoon - The Evergreen Ballroom, Skytop Lodge

Seeking the quintessential experience of afternoon tea right here in the Poconos?

The Evergreen Ballroom will be transformed into an elegant Mayfair salon as Skytop's Chef presents a delectable array of sweet delicacies and savory delights.

Champagne will be served to enhance the enjoyment and luxury of this special afternoon.

The experience will be made unforgettable with an accompanying live performance of classical music and opera curated to complement a very sophisticated and relaxing afternoon.

7:30pm: Liz Callaway Broadway and Beyond - Pocono Mountain East High School, Swiftwater

Actress, Singer, Tony nominee, Emmy winner, Singing Voice of the title character from the animated classic Anastasia returns to the Festival with a performance showcasing her historic career.

A journey through her storied career, "Broadway and Beyond" features songs from Broadway shows she has starred in, including her Tony-nominated turn in Baby, and her long-run belting "Memory" in Cats, alongside songs from the silver screen — including her Oscar-nominated hit from Anastasia - as well as songs from her recording career, "Broadway and Beyond" is a spellbinding sampler platter of what has been described as "the voice of a generation".

3:00pm: The Room Where It Happens Performing Arts Camp Showcase - Pocono Mountain East High School, Swiftwater

The Festival is thrilled to present a roof-raising concert featuring the young artists from the Festival's Performing Arts Camp to close out our 15th season!

This evening is the culmination of the two week experience and will present the material the young artists have been working on! Join us for a annual Festival favorite filled with songs, dances, taps and witness the stars of tomorrow become the stars of today!

Thanks to the generosity and support of our incredible donors and sponsors this event is FREE to everyone in the audience, donations will be accepted at the door!

7:00pm: The Roaring 2020's a Speakeasy Fundraiser - Barrett Administration & Recreation Complex, Cresco

We're celebrating this outstanding achievement and how far we have come in 15 years with a Roaring 2020s speakeasy fundraiser.

We invite you to step into the Roaring 2020s with our exclusive themed Party featuring a secret code for entry. Experience a night of glamour and the excitement of the bootlegger age!

The evening features a performance by Festival favorite Carole J. Bufford and her band, delectable light fare prepared by Chopped Champion: Chef Ciaran McGoldrick and libations from the Barley Creek Brewing Company.

As we celebrate our 15th Season we are reminded of the profound impact that the Festival’s Performing Arts Camp Experience has had on student artists. Your support helps to ensure that the Festival is able to underwrite 100% of the tuition for student artists to attend the Performing Arts Camp Experience and to build on the Festival's success for another 15 years and beyond.
