OW PorchFest: Mass-Conn-Fusion

Wethersfield Historical Society is proud to present Mass-Conn-Fusion as part of the Old Wethersfield Shopkeepers Association’s PorchFest. Mass-Conn-Fusion, with possibly the coolest band name ever, occupies the anchor slot of the day’s performances at WHS.

The band will be performing outdoors on the show mobile stage facing the Keeney Memorial Cultural Center (200 Main Street, Wethersfield, CT). Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, something cool to drink, and your dancing shoes. As their name suggests, Mass-Conn-Fusion draws its talent from both sides of the Massachusetts-Connecticut border.

Founded by bassist James Healy at the UCONN Music Department, Mass-Conn-Fusion brings forty years of history and experience to every performance. The band’s extensive repertoire has something for everyone, featuring Motown, R&B, and Funk along with hits of the 60’s through the present. The full ensemble features female lead vocalists, horns, and a solid rhythm section guaranteed to get you up on your feet.

Wethersfield Historical Society will also be featuring performers at 11:00 am and 3:00 pm on the Times Fool stage on the lawn between the Keeney Memorial Center and the Hurlbut-DunhamHouse.
