You'll enjoy a buffet-style dinner with our theater-loving community. Following the presentation of the awards, we will host a salon-style discussion with the award winners about their careers and the state of American theatre.

CRAIG LUCAS - LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

A playwright and librettist whose musical The Light in the Piazza was recently revived at New York City Center. The Obie-winning, Tony-nominated Lucas’s most recent work, Days of Wine and Roses (based on the play by JP Miller) is currently running at the Atlantic Theater Company. Lucas also wrote the screenplay for the 1989 film Longtime Companion.

CHISA HUTCHINSON - INSPIRATION AWARD

Her work has been produced by Second Stage, the Wild Project, the Atlantic, The National Black Theatre, and Rattlestick Theater. She is the recipient of a GLAAD Media Award, a Lilly Award, and a New York Innovative Theatre Award. She's a staff writer for The Blue Man Group.

RYAN J. HADDAD - TRAILBLAZER AWARD

He is an alum of the Emerging Writers Group of the Public Theater, where his play Dark Disabled Stories recently ran. His work has also been developed by Manhattan Theatre Club, New York Theatre Workshop, Primary Stages, and Berkeley Repertory Theatre. He has performed in multiple television series, including Netflix’s The Politician.
