Inside the Kitchen: Red Sage Café

The Red Sage Café, located inside Pullman Regional Hospital, offers up delicious breakfast, lunch, and grab & go options daily. Stop by to grab a snack or meal before or after an appointment, while visiting someone in the hospital, or while you're in the area. With a variety of exciting daily entrees, an expansive salad bar, delicious homemade baked goods (hello cinnamon rolls!) and the friendliest staff around, the Red Sage Café looks forward to serving you soon.

Meet Brandon Price, Executive Chef

Meet Brandon Price, Executive Chef of the Red Sage Café at Pullman Regional Hospital! Brandon was born and raised in Norfolk, VA and has been a chef for over 17 years- he's worked in a variety of restaurants and kitchens in Hampton Roads, VA. Brandon’s first job was a dishwasher, where he found his love for working in a restaurant, and ultimately decided to go to culinary school.

Brandon initially moved across the country to work at the Red Sage Café on a 6 month contract, but once his contracted time was up in December 2022, he decided to stay full-time in Pullman! “I really enjoy interacting with the people we serve. It’s interesting to explore this side of cooking- I studied nutrition in school and always found it to be an intriguing part of my work,” says Brandon.

Brandon’s goal for the Red Sage Café is to incorporate more fresh, exciting items into the café’s offerings, continue to develop new menu items, and explore fun pairings and flavors. Some recent Red Sage Café favorites include shrimp and grits, balsamic steak and mashed potatoes, and cozy homemade soups. He’s excited to begin welcoming the Pullman community back into the Red Sage Café and enjoys seeing them dining alongside Pullman Regional Hospital employees.
