CELEBRATING 35 YEARS

Mark your calendar for a whole new season to celebrate 35 years of the Quick Center!

It is hard to believe that we will be wrapping up our 2024-25 season tomorrow with our final The Met: Live in HD screening of the season. Over the last year, we have welcomed more than 40,000 community members, students, faculty, and staff through our doors. We thank you for your support and give a special shout out to our Quick Members, Patrons, Sponsors, Partners, and Volunteers who make each season a success.

At Fairfield University, we are proud of the quality of arts experiences we offer our audiences. Regardless of age, neighborhood, beliefs, or artistic interests, we are excited to welcome each of you through our doors to share in the power of the arts. At a time when many arts organizations are struggling to keep their doors open, it is important to note that as a modern Jesuit Catholic university, Fairfield University is more committed than ever to ensuring we serve as a destination for arts and culture. The Quick is a place where dialogue, differing opinions, and a wide range of artistic sharing are at the core of how we explore our society, both locally and globally.

With this in mind, the Quick Center for the Arts is excited to present a robust season in 2025-26 that will celebrate our 35th anniversary with an amazing array of artists and incredible speakers. This programming will align with a larger yearlong line-up of programming in which Fairfield University will explore what makes our country what it is today in its 250 years as the United States of America. The season is bigger and better than ever, and we look forward to sharing it with you very soon!

Each May, Fairfield Lifestyle features women making a difference in our community. They invited Lori Jones, our director of programming and operations, and Quick Center Advisory Board Member Robyn Drucker to be featured in their cover story alongside Dr. Kim Nichols.

In addition, media maven Denise Di Grigoli invited Lori Jones to be on MAV’s Coffee Clarity, recently named Best Podcast by the 2025 Connecticut Press Club. The show blends quick solo shots of clarity with unfiltered interviews featuring small business owners, creatives, entrepreneurs, and everyday changemakers. You can listen on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you find your favorite podcasts or watch live.

Make Music Fairfield
Saturday, June 21

Make Music Fairfield is intended to bring Fairfield’s entire community together for a day of celebration. The University will host two stages: one at the Fairfield University Store downtown (1499 Post Road) and the other at the Center for Arts & Minds stage in front of the University’s new downtown building (1720 Post Road).

At the Center for Arts and Minds stage, from 1 – 9 p.m. there will be musical acts from the campus community, such as faculty band, The Noodlers, as well as groups from all over Connecticut, celebrating the Summer Equinox. With family activities, as well as fun food trucks with items for purchase, this is an event for the whole family to enjoy.
