Missoula Children’s Theatre Summer Sessions
Acting, Dancing, and Music Rehearsals for a Full-Scale Musical Performance
This summer will be our 32nd season of the spectacular Missoula Children’s Theatre Program! Through the support of professional actors/directors, Missoula allows children to be a part of a team, develop their acting skills, and make lifelong memories. This summer we offer six week-long sessions to choose from with a full-scale musical performance on the Friday evening at the end of each session. In each weekly session sixty children grades 1-12 may register and be cast in a variety of speaking and ensemble roles. No advanced preparation is needed.
SESSIONS:
Hercules: July 10 – 14 Limited spots available for ages 8 and up.
Rapunzel: July 17 – 21 SOLD OUT.
King Arthur’s Quest: July 24 – 28 Spots available for all ages.
Cinderella: July 31 – August 4 Limited spots available for ages 8 and up.
Beauty Lou and the Country Beast: August 7 – 11 Limited spots available for ages 8 and up.
The Secret Garden: August 14 –18 Limited spots available for ages 8 and up.

2023 SUMMER INTENSIVE CAMPS
Musical Theatre Dance Class
July 24–27
Instructor: Lindsay Orr
Feel like a Broadway performer with this dance class taught by a professional dancer who has appeared in musicals and TV productions! You will learn how to dance with precision in technique while bringing your own personal voice to the movement to tell a story. Styles will range from old-school Broadway to more contemporary musicals and movement.

Singing for the Stage
Session 1: July 10 – 13

Instructor: Lucia Palmieri
Learn a singer’s secrets to earning the golden ticket. Do you have what it takes to turn her chair around? Led by a local Juilliard-trained soprano with a critically acclaimed debut at Carnegie Hall, campers will discover how to wield their voice to project and perform.

Introduction to Fashion Design
July 31 – August 3
Instructor: Sooo-z Mastropietro
Learn a combination of the basics of sewing and fashion illustration to create exciting concepts using basic skills taught by a fashion designer, business owner, curator, and art director. This will be a fun and creative course that helps you - get it together!
