A Letter from Arts in the Village Committee Coordinator
Dear Friends,
As Arts in the Village begins its 21st year of concerts, we look forward to another season of inspiring music.
This past year we hosted pianist Frederick Moyer, the Ekstasis Duo, violinist Emil Altschuler with Mana Tokuno, piano, Haven string Quartet with pianist Andrius Zlabys, and clarinetist Jonathan Cohler with Rasa Vitkauskaite, piano, all of whom gave moving performances. And it is difficult to forget the haunting, yet unpublished, piano composition written by a Ukrainian composer and sent here to ensure it endured the war.
Our program attracts unsurpassed artistry and interpretive talent, and our musicians come from all over the world. Our artists often comment on the warm reception they receive from our enthusiastic audience. The spirited conversations at intermission, shared over baked goods home-made by volunteers, add to the friendly ambiance of Goff Hall on concert evenings.
We want the special experience of these concerts to continue, but we need your help. To help us attract talented musicians and continue to keep ticket prices affordable, please consider a tax-deductible contribution. Please send checks, payable to Rehoboth Antiquarian Society with a notation for the Arts in the Village, to PO Box 2, Rehoboth MA 02769.
Thank you for your continued interest and support for Arts in the Village.
Sincerely,
Meredith Denno, Coordinator for Arts in the Village Committee
Spots are going quickly, but we are still accepting applications for the 2023 Crafters' Marketplace show! Click the "2023 Vendor Application" button below for more information.
This past June, we were thrilled to have volunteers from the Bristol County Savings Bank spend their 2023 Employee Volunteer Day with us at the museum. Our BCBC community partners helped with a variety of activities, including gardening and weeding, organizing craft supplies for next year's Strawberry Festival, and mailing our newsletter. To you, and to all of our fantastic volunteers, THANK YOU!
