From: ReUse FestivalKeep Norfolk Beautiful and Norfolk Public Library are excited to partner for the first-ever ReUse Festival, a community event to promote sustainability, environmental stewardship and creative reuse.
The Reuse Festival brings together environmental organizations, local artists and makers to showcase innovative ways to repurpose materials and reduce waste. Attendees will participate in hand-on workshops, view upcycled art and explore a variety of ways to cut down on waste, conserve resources and create something new and meaningful.
Festival highlights include composting, jewelry making and repair, basic repair hand sewing, plastic bag basket weaving, metal flower-making and more!
