We recommend teams to have a minimum of 16 to a maximum of 25 people (16-20 paddlers and 1 drummer, plus 4 alternates). All teams will compete in 3 x 500m races (qualifying, semi-final and final).  Based on qualifying times, teams are seeded into their semi-final race. From each semi-final race, teams will be placed in a Championship Final or Consolation Final race.

Please note:

Mixed Division: Consist of a maximum of 10 male paddlers in the boat, drummer can be male or female (based on a 20 person paddler crew).
Open Division: Any combination of paddlers in the boat.
Women’s Division: All paddlers and drummer must be female.
