The Richmond Ultra Trail Festival (RUTfest), is an event put on by the runners, for the runners. This event is designed to bring people in our community together for a weekend on the trails. Entrances fees are by donation only, and we encourage every particpant to volunteer for one hour long aid station shift at our central hub during the event. RUTfest is not a race, but is a great time to explore your own running potential and a wonderfully opportunity to run farther than you ever have in a weekend! This year’s proceeds will be split between the Catamount Outdoor Family Center and the Catamount Trail Association.

Welcome to the THIRD annual RUTFest (Richmond Ultra Trail Festival) - a weekend devoted to running and hiking local trails with our community. This 36-hour "race" includes two different 3-4 mile trail loops at Catamount Outdoor Family Center, with gorgeous views of Camel's Hump and Mt. Mansfield. These two loops are run on repeat, whenever you want.

Date: November 4-5, 2023

Time: Kickoff at 6AM Saturday Nov. 4. Check-in any time, all weekend. Closing at 6PM Sunday Nov. 5.
