SCarowinds, the Carolinas’ premier Halloween event, is back with a vengeance. Among this year’s new attractions is the Procession of Nightmares parade, where all of your deepest, darkest dreams have come to life on the park’s midways.

You’ll sleep with the lights on after experiencing this new season of SCarowinds with nothing but pure fear straddling the North Carolina-South Carolina state line. Every corner has a fresh coat of fright with horrifying haunted mazes, spine-tingling scare zones, and live entertainment.

Hordes of hungry zombies and blood-thirsty vampires eagerly wait to make you their next meal. Wicked, desperate screams ring throughout the park. Add Carowinds’ world-class thrill rides ravaging through the dark of night, and you’ve got the perfect storm for Halloween fun.

Conjure the Night

Location: Plaza Stage

Your deepest, darkest fears take center stage with Conjure the Night, SCarowinds’ all-new, live Halloween spectacle. Immerse yourself in the electric pulse, rockin’ vocals and soul shattering rhythms of Halloween’s most terrifying elements in a battle of evil vs. evil.

Halloween Hootenanny

Location: Crossroads Gazebo

SCarowinds' Halloween Hootenanny presents a gang of leather-clad rebels who infuse a rockabilly rhythm into a night of ghoulish revelry.

Procession of Nightmares

Location: Parkwide

Experience your worst nightmares while wide awake at SCarowinds’ Procession of Nightmares parade. A convoy of hideous, monstrous structures slithers through the park, joined by grotesque characters, mesmerizing effects and bone-chilling music.

Scenes from the underworld—perhaps from your dreaming brain—process through the midways. An evil jack-o-lantern. Witches stirring their next troubled brew. A crazy skeleton king. A creepy clown with fangs. Ghastly pirates followed by an angry sea monster. Zombies, mummies and skeletons emerging from a forgotten graveyard.

You want to look away, run away from these horrifying scenes, but no. You can’t escape your nightmares when they’ve all come true.

Raging Inferno

These heavy metal rockers take the term "heavy metal" literally! Witness the Raging Inferno as they unleash their thrashing performance on steel - but don't get burned!

The Mane Stage

Location: County Fair

The hauntingly harmonized melodies of this Andrews Sisters-esque act reverberate throughout the park, establishing the eerie ambiance of this macabre setting. These gifted ladies deliver New Orleans jazz-infused renditions of beloved "gallows humor" songs that will indeed have you tapping your toes to the rhythm.
