Sheffield Lake’s annual Community Days is a highlight of Summer. It has been celebrated for more than 50 years.

Thursday, July 20, 2023

6:00pm - 11:00pm: Carnival opens

Primtime Carnival, a new vendor, will have about a dozen rides, some for kids, others for kids accompanied by an adult or adults. They also provide popular carnival games of chance and food like fried oreos, popcorn, cotton candy and more. Local vendors will also be on site bringing the total of food/beverage options to a dozen.

7:00pm: Annual Community Days Parade

Sixty units are expected to march from Joyce Hanks Community Center, 4575 Lake Road, to Shoreway Shopping Center, 4128 Lake Road. Local safety forces as well as other law enforcement agencies lead the parade. Other crowd favorites include Brookside High School’s Marching Band, Shriners’ clown cars, elected officials and youth sports teams, throwing candy to kids who lining the street to view the passing parade.

Dark: Fireworks

The city will sponsor a fireworks display at the Boat Launch across the street from Shoreway Shopping Center.

Saturday, July 22, 2023

9:00am - 1:00pm: City-wide Yard Sale

Between 1-3:30 p.m., the city will provide dumpsters at the service garage on Richilieu to dispose of items that did not sell. Another area will be set aside for donations to Goodwill.

Note: residents are asked to place their items into dumpsters themselves as there will be limited assistance only for large, heavy items. Nothing flammable, including paint, can be accepted. Tires also not accepted.

4:00pm - 11:00pm: Carnival
