2024 Carl Nicholas (Snider) Jazz Festival

Schedule:
7:00am - Arrive at DeKalb High School
7:30am - Depart for Snider High School
8:00am - Arrival at Snider High School, store our things in HOMEROOM (Cafeteria)
8:35am - Every Jazz One and Jazz Two member is to watch DMS Jazz 8
9:00am - Watch Bands.(Auditorium or Gymnasium)
10:00am - Jazz One Meet in HOMEROOM (Cafeteria)
        - Check your instruments, reeds, music, etc.
10:25am - Jazz One transit to Warm-Up
10:30am - Jazz One Warm-up
10:55am - Jazz One transit to Auditorium stage
11:00am - Jazz One performs.Every Jazz Too member watches and cheers Jazz One.
11:30am - Watch Bands, lunch at Snider (bring $$$ or your own food/snacks)
1:00pm - Jazz Too meet in HOMEROOM (Cafeteria)
1:25pm - Jazz Too transit to Warm-Up
1:30pm - Jazz Too Warm-Up
1:55pm - Jazz Too transit to Gymnasium
2:00pm - Jazz Too performs.Every Jazz One member watches and cheers Jazz One.
2:30pm - Watch Bands
3:45pm - Clinic in Auditorium with guest artist Alicia Pyle
4:45pm - Announce Honor Bands
5:00pm - Honor Bands Perform
5:30pm - Concert - Snider High School with guest artist Alicia Pyle
6:30pm - Awards
7:00pm - Depart Snider High School
7:30pm - Arrive at DeKalb High School
       - Unload all instruments and equipment in band room and GO HOME.

This is going to be a long day, so make sure to plan accordingly.Snacks and drinks are encouraged, but must be kept in homeroom. If you bring money, concessions will be available outside of Auditorium in the main hallway. Let's make it a great day.
