The Pumpkinfest Art Contests are an opportunity to support and encourage young artists in our community. It's our mission to encourage children to playfully explore and experiment with art, engage in creativity and experience artistic growth through exhibition opportunities.

2023 Pie Baking Contest

The Pie Baking Contest is a fun tradition at Pumpkinfest!  This year's judge is State Representative Jason Morgan!
Contestants must be at least 16 years old to enter and pies must contain pumpkin.  Other than that, recipes can be very different and designs are always unique.

During Pumpkinfest 2:30pm  at the Family Stage.

Parade Begins at 10:00 AM

A good spot to watch the parade would be either side of Pontiac Trail from 9 Mile (CVS) to McHattie Street.  Arrive early and bring a blanket or lawn chair!
In keeping with our theme, we are so excited that the South Lyon Historical Society will be our Grand Marshalls!
