From: South Portland SpringFestSpringFest is dedicated to bringing everyone together to get involved in the community and encourage connections between more people and cultures. A side effect of SpringFest is the support of local shops and restaurants through increased customer activity.

Gnomes @ Knight Street Party in Thomas Knight Park
Whimsical, fun and safe evening street festival with games, crafts, live marching band, DJ, dancing, and food trucks.
Saturday, May 20, 2023:

SPHS Football Fundraiser Gnome-a-licious Pancake Breakfast
8:00-11:00 at the SP Community Center
MENU: PANCAKES, SAUSAGE, FRUIT CUP, JUICE, COFFEE, TEA

GnomeSport Junior Celtics Academy
9:00-12:30, at the SP Community Center
South Portland Community Center is hosting a FREE youth basketball clinic led by the Junior Celtics, the official youth basketball platform of the 17-Time World Champion Boston Celtics, and the Maine Celtics! The clinics teach the game of basketball in a fun, professional and energetic manner.

Gnome Home Village Community Art Project
Together, let's construct the "World's Largest Gnome Village." Custom-designed gnome home build kits, created by SPHS JMG student, are available at South Portland Recreation Center. Or create a gnome home using natural materials found in the backyard or the woods. The Village will be assembled in the park's Ocean Street/Broadway corner. Prizes will be awarded for creativity and originality! Turn up with your gnome home(s) starting at 11 AM and watch the village grow, maybe to the world's largest, as the festival progresses!
Gnome Gazebo Entertainment
Welcome remarks at 11:00 am followed by a KindKids Music Concert. COAST 93.1 radio (https://coast931.com/) will be broadcasting on-site from the Gazebo from 12:00-2:00
Best-in-Gnome CornHole Tournament
2-person team single elimination Cornhole tournament – prizes for multiple age groups.
