Southport Globe Onion Festival II

Join us and celebrate the Southport globe onion with live music, refreshments and light bites, and all things onion. Entertainment will be provided by local bands, with an assortment of programming and activities designed to educate and enlighten participants about our community’s agricultural heritage.

Entertainment provided by local heroes Lackluster Brother from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., with an onion and seed demonstration being led by seed superstar Heron Breen.

Food will be provided by local businesses, with hard cider and other refreshments provided by Hunter Kang.

Join local historian Deej Webb for a special onion-oriented Southport Walking Tour at 10:00 a.m., meeting at Pequot Library. Space is limited, and it’s first come, first served.
