The all-volunteer Spencerport Canal Days Committee will produce their 42nd annual event July 27th and 28th in downtown Spencerport. This 2 day festival will include arts and crafts vendors, live entertainment, children's activities, a tasting tent, delicious food offerings and a car show. Plan to attend and enjoy all that Spencerport Canal Days has to offer.

9:45 AM: Dori’s Music Studio
Offers a summer band program for students who've been playing for at least one year.

10:15 AM - 11:15 AM: BorderTown
Formed in 2013, BorderTown rocked Rochester for a few years and then was remade in 2017 with the addition of new members for Lead Singer's and Lead Guitars. Our new focus is on Modern Country with a mix of your older favorites that no one can resist rockin' too. All of our band members have great talent and strive to deliver the most quality sound you can imagine. We are just getting started and can't wait to show Western, NY a real live country show!

11:45 AM - 1:15 PM: Double Down
Double Down has decades of experience in getting the party started with great music and engaging shows! From Rock, to Pop to Modern Country we've entertained thousands of folks across Western New York with tunes for every taste. Songs that make you want to dance, sing along, tap your foot. Double Downs shows deliver great fun that everyone can enjoy!

1:45 PM - 3 PM: Some Ska Band
In the winter of 2011, five musicians met in the basement of an ad agency, brought together by their shared love of ska and the incessant emails of founder and tenor sax man, Charles Benoit. They began with covers of old-school and 90s ska classics, playing any place that would put them on a stage. They started writing and recording originals and, after a few lineup changes, released their debut CD, It’s Going Down, in 2018. Soon the band was playing gigs across the region and opening for bands like The Pietasters, Pilfers and Bim Skala Bim.

3:30 PM - 5 PM: No Big Deal
No Big Deal is a trio that plays a mix of rockin' tunes from a variety of artists. We pride ourselves on doing covers of the songs you love, maybe haven't heard in a while, and we have fun while doing it! No Big Deal features a driving rhythm section, rippin' guitar solos, and epic arrangements of classic and modern-classic hits! We've been active in the Rochester area for more than 7 years and we're always looking forward to keeping the party going... it's No Big Deal!

10:30 AM - 12 PM: Greece Jazz Band
The Greece Jazz Band is directed by Gary Samulski. It’s a big band playing all styles of big band music from the swing era to present day.  The Greece Jazz Band has been performing in the greater Rochester area since 1997, this volunteer big band has developed a varied repertoire of familiar standards, dance tunes, and modern high-energy jazz charts.

12:30 PM - 2:30 PM: Johnny Bauer
Johnny Bauer is a touring musical entertainer from western NY. He is an accomplished singer, songwriter, guitarist, and harmonica player. Johnny will be bringing his three-piece band to this year’s Spencerport Canal Days Festival.

He incorporates all types of familiar favorites and infectious original songs into his shows, performing soulful Americana in the styles of Country, Blues, and Rock. A sound comparable to Outlaw Country Greats like Merle Haggard meets the melodic tones of Tom Petty, mixed with John Denver. Through intimacy and engagement with the crowd, the audience walks away feeling like old friends.

3:00 PM - 4:30 PM: SIRSY
It’s hard to imagine a sound this big coming from just two people. The Boston Globe calls SIRSY the “little band with the big sound.” Fans call them the little band with big heart. Hailing from Upstate NY, Sirsy is a sassy pop-rock duo with folk intimacy. Sirsy is known for their passionate, honest, heartfelt live performances that have a charming intensity, loads of stories from the road, and even some nerdy jokes.
