Michigan Dems Chair applauds Harris campaign’s young voter outreach as she earns every vote

LANSING — On Oct 28th, Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate Governor Tim Walz will be in Ann Arbor with musician Maggie Rogers to energize young voters. Ahead of their rally, Chair of the Michigan Democratic Party Lavora Barnes released the following statement: 

“From the East Side to the West Side, the UP down to Detroit, Kamala Harris and Tim Walz are dedicated to earning every single vote here in Michigan. Today, they are showing young voters in Ann Arbor how they will deliver on the issues that young Michiganders care about — civil rights, climate change, student debt, and more. 

“A second Donald Trump presidency would devastate our environment, strip away our fundamental freedoms, and deepen inequality for generations to come. Vice President Kamala Harris and Governor Tim Walz are the champions young voters deserve, and next week, they’ll deliver Michigan for Harris-Walz.”
