February 8, 2025

12:00 pm - 6:00 pm: Poker Bike Ride - St. Pete at Bayboro Brewing 2390 5th Ave S, St Petersburg, FL

The Poker Ride returns to St. Pete in February!
We will begin the ride at Bayboro Brewing, then on to If I Brewed the World, over to Grand Central Brewhouse, then Right Around the Corner Brewing, St Pete Brewing, and return to Bayboro for the final card of your poker hand.

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT A RACE!!! We want everyone to have fun, so e-bikes, scooters, unicycles, etc. are all welcome!

We are asking people to show up at Bayboro Brewing to collect their first poker hand card between 12-1pm, and then start their ride. We will do awards around 6:00 at Bayboro Brewing.
$20 per rider. The funds raised will go to the TBBA/Beverage Industry Operator Brewing Arts Internship Assistance Program. In addition, there will be gift card prizes for the top two poker hands as well as the worst hand.

No beer purchase is necessary.

Join us Monday at 6 pm for an evening celebrating Shakespeare & Beer! This event will be a fundraiser for Jobsite Theater to help keep the arts alive in our community! Talented local actors of the Jobsite Theater group will give a tipsy one-night only production of Shakespeare skits on our patio! We will be featuring beers from Samuel Smith's Brewery of Yorkshire, England and Sullivan's Brewery of Kilkenny, Ireland! 10:00 am - 2:00 pm: Certified Cicerone Tasting & Demo Exam at Grand Central Brewhouse 2340 Central Ave, St. Petersburg, FL

Registration is open for the St Petersburg, FL Certified Cicerone Tasting and Demo exam. The exam will be held starting at 10AM on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at Grand Central Brewhouse. As always, space is limited for these exams, so register soon! No written examination will be given during this session. This event is for tasting and oral exam sections only.

7:00 pm - 9:00 pm: Cheers to Belgian Beer! A Mini Belgian Beer Fest! at Independent Bar and Cafe, Tampa 5016 N Florida Ave, Tampa, FL

Join us Tuesday, for our annual TBBW ode to the amazing beers of Belgium! This is a two hour mini Belgian Beer Festival that will include unlimited samples from some of Belgium's best breweries and classic beer styles from this amazing beer country. Participating breweries include St. Bernardus, Chimay, Delirium, Cornelissen, Duchesse, Rochefort, Lindemans, Petrus, Val Dieu, Westmalle, and more! The cost of the two hour tasting is $45 (tickets include the tasting, and a raffle ticket for a chance to win a raffle prize). 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm: Safety Harbor Craft Beer Festival at Safety Harbor Waterfront Park 105 Veterans Memorial Lane, Safety Harbor

Welcome to Safety Harbor's first Craft Beer Festival presented by Crooked Thumb Brewery and Troubled Waters Brewing.

Two charities, two local breweries and the City of Safety Harbor have come together to bring 30+ craft brewers, homebrewers, food trucks, live music from local favorite Sweet Lick, vendors, games and more to Safety Harbor Harbor Waterfront Park on Saturday, March 8. This is a makeup date postponed from October due to hurricane damage at the park.

The Kiwanis Club of Safety Harbor and Paint Your Heart Out Safety Harbor will split proceeds from this charitable event to further their efforts to support neighbors in need.

Get ready for a day filled with fantastic craft beers, delicious food and live tunes. Join fellow beer enthusiasts and breweries for the perfect opportunity to sample a wide variety of craft beers and discover new favorites. See you there!

5:00 pm - 9:00 pm: Halfway to Oktoberfest! at Independent Bar and Cafe, Tampa 5016 N Florida Ave, Tampa, FL

Join us Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 5 pm, for our annual “Halfway to Oktoberfest” Parade and celebration! The Suwannee Avenue Marching Band will lead a parade promptly at 5 pm at Hillsborough High School (Wilder Ave and Central parking lot) and make their way to the Independent for a ceremonial tapping and toast of Weihenstephaner Festbier! We will be tapping some of the classic German favorites from Weihenstephan and Hofbrau, and we will feature a special Indie Haus Dunkel lager brewed in collaboration with King State Brewing. Our kitchen will be offering Oktoberfest food specials such as our Weisswurst, Spaetzle, Sauerbraten Stew and more. Break out those Dirndls and Lederhosen and join the Oktoberfest Fun! Prost!

If you've been to BarrieHaus, you know how we value the perfect pours in ALL their many forms thanks to our amazing classic Czech Lukr taps. We are taking it one step further by welcoming Bone River Knives' blacksmith to provide FIRE AND FOAM through the art of Bierstacheln or Beer Spiking. Bone River Knives will be doing metal working demonstrations and selling handmade beer spikes and luxury rugged knives.
