Let's Join Together in Welcoming 2023!
2022 was an exciting year for the 12th edition of the
Arlington Int'l Film Festival,
returning from two years of the virtual world to
in-person theatrical screenings and Q&As with filmmakers.
Our audience at the Capitol Theatre
had the opportunity of savoring indie films from
Sweden, Israel, Peru, China, South Korea, Argentina, Mexico, France, India, Spain, UK, Turkey, Iran, and Arlington, MA!
We are even MORE excited to usher in 2023
and its array of creative art that is being produced.
We hope you share the same excitement for what is to come.

2023 AIFF Call for Submissions
The Arlington International Film Festival's
2023 season is now open and accepting submissions.
Each year, AIFF provides a platform for indie filmmakers
who are creating films that not only entertain but invite us to consider contemporary issues via numerous genres.
AIFF also challenges gender imbalance and the
lack of diversity in the film industry.
We encourage you to visit FilmFreeway and submit your work.

In Honor of the Ukraine Community
AIFF has opened the Call for Entries to include shorts that focus on work highlighting the humanitarian and economic crises in the Ukraine.
The same rules apply for all short submissions with exception of the length.
All short films must comply with a maximum length of 10 minutes.
48 Hour Film Project
The Arlington Int'l Film Festival is thrilled to announced its partnership with the 48 HOUR FILM PROJECT
...a wild and sleepless weekend in which you and a team make a movie - write, shoot, and edit - in just 48 hours. On Friday night, teams draw a genre from a hat. They are then given a character, prop and line to include in their films. On Sunday night, in a wild dash to the drop-off event, the film is turned in and - and teams celebrate. The films are then screened at a local theater in front of an audience of filmmakers, friends, and families. In 2023, we'll be celebrating 20 years of the Boston 48HFP and we are inviting you to participate.
