10:45 AM and 2:15 PM: Presentation on Icelandic sheep. Learn about this unique sheep and their connection to the Vikings.
11:45 AM: Bones and Trees: The Sounds of the Viking Era Just home from her studies in Norway, Kari Tauring will regale us with stories and tunes on bone and willow flutes, two of the ancient instruments that create the sounds of the Viking era.
11:45 AM and 1:30 PM: Fjord Horse riding demonstration
12:15 and 2:30 PM: Author reading: Efjandun. Hear about the struggle between the West Saxons England and the invading Danish Vikings,
1:45 PM: The Runes: A Workshop Join rune expert Kari Tauring for some serious fun with runes.
11:15 AM and 2:45 PM: Battle demonstrations
Learn about the various Viking weapons and see warriors in action. Family-friendly.
