September 30, 2023

From: City of Goleta

Welcome to the Library Reading Corner for October 2023

A Note from Interim Library Director Diane Satchwell:

Dear Goleta and Santa Ynez Valley Library Users:

What an exciting month this September has been for us at the library. We had the chance to collaborate on many great programs including the Creek Week Art Contest and the Mexican Independence Day Festival in Old Town Goleta.

If you did not have a chance to visit us, don't worry! We will be at the Lemon Festival this Saturday Sept 30th, and Sunday Oct 1st, during festival hours and are excited to meet more patrons in person. Please make sure you come by and visit staff from the Goleta Valley Library where we'll have fun prizes and giveaways and can even register new library cards on-site!

Remember to visit the Goleta Valley Library by October 1st to cast your vote for the new "People's Choice" award for our Creek Week Art contest!

I will be at the Lemon Festival this weekend and look forward to meeting all of you in-person. Thank you for being patrons of the Goleta Valley Library system.
