From: The Maritime AquariumWelcome to the Aquarium, Mikey!
We are thrilled to welcome a grey seal named Mikey to the Aquarium!
Mikey is the first grey seal to live in the Aquarium and will reside in Pinniped Cove with harbor seals Rasal, Leila, Feisty, Gracie, and Sono. Like harbor seals, grey seals can be found in Long Island Sound during the winter months when they migrate south in search of warmer waters. Please note: he may not be visible at all times as he adjusts to his new home.

Transforming for the Future
We are pleased to share with you our Fiscal Year 2024 Impact Report, which highlights how we are bringing to life our new strategic plan, An Aquarium Without Walls.
The year brought so many pivotal moments, including the exciting debut of our new Atlantic sturgeon touch tank and the opening of our immersive, interactive, and fully bilingual exhibit, Life Among the Grasses. We also welcomed unique new species, engaged our youngest generation of ocean stewards through innovative STEM programming, expanded our conservation initiatives and partnerships, and continued to work to ensure an inclusive, diverse, and accessible environment for all our guests, staff, and volunteers.
