Presented in Partnership with the The Jazz Gallery,  Flatiron NoMad Partnership, and Madison Square Park Conservancy.

Get ready to experience the sounds of world-class jazz in Manhattan’s quintessential live, work, play neighborhood as The NoMad Alliance proudly presents the inaugural NoMad Jazz Festival, taking place August 9-10, 2025 in Madison Square Park, one of New York City’s most transcendent and welcoming urban oases. This exciting new festival, produced in partnership with The Jazz Gallery – celebrating its 30th anniversary – along with the Flatiron NoMad Partnership and Madison Square Park Conservancy, will be an unforgettable weekend of live music, family events, and community celebration free to the public, activating across the Flatiron and NoMad districts.

Continuing the legacy of NoMad’s Tin Pan Alley and the birth of the Great American Songbook, the neighborhood is the ideal place to showcase both renowned jazz performers and up-and-coming jazz talent. The festival’s lineup, curated by The Jazz Gallery’s Rio Sakairi, already includes renowned artists such as Lizz Wright, Ravi Coltrane Quartet, Roy Hargrove Big Band, Michael Mayo, Dabin Ryu Trio, Arta J?kabsone, Caracas Trio, and Melissa Almaguer, with more artists to be announced in the coming weeks.

The excitement begins well before the NoMad Jazz Festival weekend. From August 3-8, 2025, the NoMad and Flatiron neighborhoods will come alive with special events, music and jazz-themed activations on the Flatiron and NoMad public spaces, curated live performances across participating venues, and discounts from local businesses. This action-packed week of music and culture will set the stage for an unforgettable celebration, positioning the area as a premier destination for music, art, and community.
