In this class we will cover all of the skills and techniques to build a unique piece(s) of stained glass art using the copper foil technique. This is a perfect class for students with no experience as well as intermediate students with some experience who may want a refresher course. All levels welcome. The Amy H. Carberry Fine Arts Gallery at Springfield Technical Community College celebrates Black History Month with Springfield artist Kahli Hernandez's The World Famous Artoonist's Art Heist. This dynamic, interactive art exhibition is an escape room and an art exhibition with an imaginative street-style expression. Viewers will encounter puzzles to solve while attempting to avoid vigilant "security" and escape with some original Artoonist artwork if completed correctly.

Xuân Pham experiments with ephemeral materials from the everyday experiences of Vietnamese immigrants--such as rice paper, pandan, and brooms--to reflect on the legacies of displacement, migration, and race within Asian American and immigrant communities in the United States. In this exhibition, Pham views the exhibition space as an extension of her studio--a place not just for viewing but also for collaborative creation, destruction, and renewal.
