End-of-Year Campaign Continues Cultivate-Educate-Elevate: Growth Through Giving

Bailey Robinson-Burmester and his family have been members of the Woodland Opera House community for years. He started out as one of our students when our only teaching space was the small 4th Street Studio. Since then, he's taken a variety of dance and acting classes and he's seen the education program transform through the opening of the Theatre And Dance Annex (TADA) which now serves hundreds of students of all ages.

While he is currently enrolled at UC Davis, Bailey has become a dance instructor at TADA and choreographs for the Education Program. He is even throwing his hat into the ring this winter as director of the upcoming production of Disney’s The Aristocats KIDS, which he will also choreograph. We are very proud of the well-rounded young adults like Bailey, who have learned life-long skills and a great sense of confidence through their experience at TADA. Bailey says, “As an educator, dancer, and actor I cannot be happier with both the physical growth (of TADA) and the personal development of those who have become a part of the Woodland Opera House Education program.”

Will you help us to keep growing and reaching more young people who will benefit from the joy of theatre? Please consider donating to our End-of-Year Campaign: Cultivate-Educate-Elevate, Growth Through Giving. Our campaign goal is $40,000 and we are happy to share that we've raised over $28,000 to date. With your contribution we can make it all the way!

Donations are tax deductible and can be made online by using the button below or sent by check to P.O. Box 1425, Woodland, CA 95776. Sweet Success!

The whole theatre was abuzz this past weekend as our students graced our historic stage for four performances of The Nutcracker Sweet. Literally hundreds of people visited the theatre on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday to see the much beloved annual show.

A big thanks goes to instructors Crystal Rea and Ania Mieszkowska for directing the show, and to all of the backstage and technical crew for working their magic and bringing it together. Many thanks as well to the parents who ushered and supported this huge holiday undertaking in a variety of ways...and of course, our students! As you can see from just a sampling of photos, it was a wonderful production!
