Teachers Save a Student’s Life – When a student at Allen Middle had a medical emergency, two teachers jumped in and saved their life. One prevented the student from falling and called for help while the other administered CPR until first responders arrived. We are grateful for these extraordinary educators.
Ramadan Makers Space – Ramadan is recognized by millions of people as a month of fasting, prayer, reflection and community. At Jackson Middle, students observing the holy month have the opportunity to visit a maker’s space while their classmates eat lunch. There, they make crafts, catch up on work or take a moment to reflect.
