From: Thomas Crane Public LibraryHappy 100th Birthday to Wollaston Library!
Join us to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Thomas Crane
Public Library's Wollaston Branch.
Opened in January of 1923, the Wollaston Branch has been serving the Wollaston neighborhood as a library for 100 years.
Out of over a dozen branch libraries in Quincy over the decades, Wollaston is the oldest of the remaining three branches - and the smallest!
At this centennial celebration we will have refreshments, music, activities for kids and adults alike, and plenty of time to socialize and share memories of this community-built branch library.

Dear TCPL Community:
I am thrilled to announce that the City and the Library have partnered to provide some much needed cosmetic improvements to the Adams Shore Branch. There will be all new carpet and furniture, and some improvements to the lighting.
Adams Shore is an architectural gem, a paragon of mid century modern design and deserves to shine.
In order to complete the projects, the library will be closed from January 30 through February 2. We look forward to welcoming you all back on Monday, February 6 at 1 pm.
Special thanks to the Library Foundation for the furniture, and to the City for the lighting and carpet.
Sincerely,
Sara Slymon
Library Director

Visit us in January to view Marti Gearin-Foley's oil paintings of urban scenes, interiors, and Renaissance style portraits. Inspired by her artistic mother, Marti is self-taught and has been drawing and painting since she was a child. She was born in Dorchester and raised in North Quincy.
