The Kick-off Parade, to mark the official opening of the Pork Festival will be the Thursday after Labor Day at 5:30 p.m. This parade is open to all who wish to participate. Features will be pigs, clowns, local bands, youth groups, pageant contestants as well as our patriotic units. Staging begins at 5:00 p.m. at the Tipton Elementary School parking lot. Again, this year there will be a limit of five bands in the Kickoff Parade No Entry Fee For Thursday Parade. Registration closes at 5:15
