TOWN OF AVON SPECIAL EVENT IMPACT NOTICE

Fireworks in Avon

Public transportation is the easiest way to access Harry A. Nottingham Park for Fireworks in Avon

Hours of Event: 5:30 - 7:00 p.m.
Location: Harry A. Nottingham Park

TEMPORARY PARKING LOT CLOSURES | Thursday, January 12 through Saturday, January 14

Avon Elementary School Partial Closure:  Thursday & Friday – 7:00 a.m. – 11:59 p.m.
Avon Elementary School Full Closure: Saturday – 12:00 a.m. - 11:59 p.m.

TEMPORARY PUBLIC ICE-SKATING CLOSURES | Saturday, January 14

Nottingham Lake Public Ice-Skating Closure:  2:30 – 3:00 p.m. AND 5:30 – 7:00 p.m.

Getting to and leaving Fireworks in Avon:
Public transportation is the easiest way to access Harry A. Nottingham Park. If you must drive, limited parking will be available at Avon Town Hall, as well as on-street parking on Lake Street, W. Benchmark Road, and W. Beaver Creek Boulevard.  

AVON TRANSIT: All Avon busses and shuttles arrive and depart from Avon Station.

Avon Transit will run on schedule all day.

The Town of Avon mobility department will operate the Red and Blue Lines from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The Avon Skier Shuttle will operate from 7:56 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The Avon Restaurant Shuttle will operate from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m.

The Avon Night Rider will operate from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m.

ECO TRANSIT: Eco Transit will offer regular service between Vail and Walmart Station; Eagle/Gypsum; and Avon Station.

Parking is limited and on a first come first served basis

Available at designated on-street parking locations

Available at Avon Town Hall

Designated private parking lots
