Town Launches Online Permitting Platform

The Town of Brewster is pleased to announce that our Health and Building Departments recently launched a new online permitting platform, which can be accessed here: https://brewsterma.viewpointcloud.com

This is a web-based permitting system that allows contractors and homeowners to create an account, apply for permits, upload required documents, and pay permit fees all in a few easy steps. The system also sends out regular email notifications to applicants for each step in the process, including approvals and inspections (some limitations apply).

Seeking Letters of Interest for Energy And Climate Change Committee

The Select Board is accepting letters of interest to serve on the newly formed Energy and Climate Action Committee.  The Town of Brewster has identified climate change mitigation and adaptation as a critical goal to the Town’s future.  The creation of this committee acknowledges that achievingenergy reduction and efficiency goals are linked to curbing greenhouse gas emissions and mitigating the effects of climate change. The committee will be responsible for leading efforts to identify and address the Town’s climate and energy goals.  To apply, please complete the application and submit to [email protected] along with your letter of interest.   Energy and Climate Action Committee charge.
