New Mental Health Resources for Residents
At the beginning of the year, Massachusetts launched the Behavioral Health Help Line (BHHL). The BHHL connects individuals and families to a full range of treatment services for mental health and substance use, including outpatient, urgent, and immediate crisis care. The BHHL is staffed by trained clinicians and certified peer specialists to support callers’ needs. The BHHL is free to all Massachusetts residents, even if you do not have insurance and it is available in more than 200 languages.
The BHHL is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year by phone call and text at 833-773-2445 or online by visiting the BHHL website here.
