Free At-Home COVID-19 Tests for Dedham Residents

The Town of Dedham has a limited supply of free at-home COVID-19 tests to distribute to residents. Please contact the Health Department at (781) 751-9220 if you are interested in receiving a free at-home test.

Flu Vaccine and COVID-19 Booster

With many people getting sick after the holidays, the Board of Health encourages eligible residents to get a flu vaccine and COVID-19 booster. You can even get both vaccines at the same time. Flu season peaks between December and February, but you can still get sick as late as May. The CDC recently designated Norfolk County as having high community COVID-19 transmission. The Board encourages residents to stay home when sick, cover coughs and sneezes, and practice good hand hygiene. Getting vaccinated against the flu and COVID-19 can help keep you, your family, and the community healthy.

Visit this website or visit your healthcare provider to schedule a flu vaccine appointment. COVID-19 vaccine and booster appointments can be made online here.

Mental Health Resources for Dedham Residents

Dedham residents have access to mental health resources through William James College’s INTERFACE referral services. Residents can call the program’s helpline Monday-Friday from 9 AM- 5 PM to work with a Resource and Referral Counselor who will help them navigate the challenges of finding mental health services. Please call the helpline at (617) 332-3666 for assistance, or visit INTERFACE’s website here.

Stay safe and be kind!

Respectfully submitted by the Board of Health,

Leanne Jasset, Chair

Noreen Guilfoyle, Vice Chair

Bernadette Chirokas, Member
