The Shirley Penguins swim team provides an affordable program for swimmers to take part in during the winter.  Basic swimming skills are needed, this is not a learn-to-swim program. Swimming with your face in the water for one length of the pool is required. Our Penguin program is about the individual swimmer and the idea of that individual improving from where they started. Swimmers will learn traits such as
sportsmanship, teamwork, setting goals, and aspirations towards individual improvements that translate far beyond the lanes of the pool.

Practices start on February 10th and go until the April 23rd.The practices will take place at Swymfit, 90 Swanson Road Boxborough, MA 01719.
Practices are Fridays 7:30-8:30 pm and Sundays 5:30-6:30 from 2/10/23 to 4/23/23. No sessions on 4/7 or 4/9.
