Regional SciTech Festival Returns to the Verde Valley

Family-friendly STEAM events will be held FREE at public libraries, the Science Vortex, elementary schools, museums, and more throughout the Verde Valley during the month of February. Earn a prize by attending at least 6 Verde Valley SciTech Festival 2024 events and filling out the mini lab notebook. Pick up your mini lab notebook at any participating organization. Fill it out at for each event you attend and show it off at Science Vortex in Cottonwood or Camp Verde Community Library to get your prize!

Check out the Library's Mobile STEAM Lab Makerspace, make a code-cipher bracelet, and see a demo CVCL's new printing press. Meet in the Mobile STEAM Lab at Camp Verde Community Library.

4:30pm-6:30pm: Exploring STEAM with CVES & CVCL

Explore the Library's Mobile STEAM Lab Makerspace at CVES with hands-on STEAM activities. Meet at Camp Verde Elementary School.

Join Ms. Letty and Ms. Sally from the Children's Library in a tour of the Verde Valley Archaeology Center and learn about the museum's new Grand Canyon Exhibit. Meet at VVAC, 460 Finnie Flat Road in Camp Verde.
