From: Village Of Lisle

This year, a total of 5.68 tons of non-artificial Christmas trees were collected and recycled! Through the Village’s partnership with LRS and The Morton Arboretum, the trees were collected curbside and brought to the Morton Arboretum where they were processed into mulch for landscaping throughout the Arboretum grounds. This excellent reuse of trees is made possible through these valuable partnerships that help best serve the community. Thanks to all those that participated in this year’s tree recycling program!
