From: Volunteer New YorkAs we reflect on our 15th annual 9/11 Serve & Remember event, we are grateful for the outpouring of community action. In the wake of 9/11, countless acts of kindness shined throughout our community, creating a chain of compassion and unity. These acts still resonate today, stirring hearts, sparking dialogues, and driving many to seek opportunities to serve and make a difference.
This year, 669 volunteers dedicated their time and energy to make an impact in their community. Collectively, the volunteers clocked in 962 hours of service across two days. The 9/11 Serve & Remember event is a solemn reminder of our ties to one another, our lost heroes, and our unwavering commitment to community service. Thank you for being part of this journey and ensuring the spirit of unity and service lives on.
