Let's Honor the Past and Build a Better Future Together

Each year, on and around the anniversay of September 11, 2001, Volunteer New York! and the Westchester County Government join forces not only to honor and remember, but to take meaningful action. The 15th Annual 9/11 Serve + Remember Volunteer Days of Service is a powerful demonstration of how we turn reflection into purpose.

We'll kick-off on Friday, September 5th with a meal-packing event with Monroe University in New Rochelle, where hundreds of volunteers will come together to pack 50,000 meals for local families in need. On Thursday, September 11th we'll come together at the Westchester County Center, for in-person, family-friendly volunteer opportunities - from creating literacy kits and blankets to participating in a blood drive and creating cards for U.S troops. This is what community in action looks like.

But we can’t do it without the partnership of our community-minded sponsors.

We are currently seeking individuals and companies that share our belief in service, resilience, and unity to step forward and underwrite these Days of Service. Vital support of previous sponsors have mobilized thousands of local volunteers over the past 15 years. This is your moment to make a lasting difference in our community.

All sponsorships provide prominent visibility leading up to and throughout the 9/11: Serve + Remember Days of Service.
